REGISTRATION CLOSED: Celebrate National Trails Day with Potomac Conservancy!
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. The cleanup site has reached maximum capacity for volunteer sign ups.
Please check back at www.potomac.org/events for future cleanup opportunities. Thank you!
Help honor National Trails Day — the nation's largest celebration of trails — by joining Potomac Conservancy and our partners at the National Park Conservation Association and the National Park Service for a river cleanup along the C&O Canal at Fletcher’s Cove!
What we have: Trash bags, gloves, snacks, reusable bottles, drinking water, and vouchers for a free canoe, kayak, or bicycle rental to get out and explore the Potomac River and C&O Canal National Historical Park for EVERY volunteer.
What we need: YOU! We need enthusiastic River Warriors to restore the scenic shorelines and protect important habitat by removing litter from the shores of the Potomac River — the Nation’s River. If that sounds like you, sign up! All volunteers are welcome but space is limited so sign up today!
Important details:
Space is limited so sign up today!
Volunteer sign in will take place in the lower parking lot at Fletcher’s Cove between 8:40 and 9:00.

Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather (rain or shine) and wear clothes you won't mind getting dirty. Long pants are recommended.
