A Close Up Look at our Landowner Advisor Program
Chesapeake Bay Journal helps spread the work about Potomac Conservancy's Non-operator Landowner Advisor program and how it's helping to enhance working lands in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Through strategic outreach to 'absentee' landowners - or individuals who own, but do not operate their working lands - Potomac Conservancy helps connect this important group of landowners to existing resources to implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) on their properties. These conservation practices help improve water quality by ensuring the lands are both productive and river-friendly!
