Take Me To The River Celebration
Thanks to you, Potomac Conservancy and our friends and supporters are able to make great strides in 2018. Together we will:
- Accelerate water quality protection at the local level and promote river friendly cities
- Clean up shorelines in DC, Virginia and Maryland, plant trees and restore streamside habitat
- Enable 1,000 volunteers and program participants to help the river this year

Guests at Take Me To The River adopted 125 trees! Trees are an essential part of keeping our streams and rivers clean. These 125 trees will go into the ground this fall and volunteers will be invited to help plant them! (Date to be announced in October).
Thank you! To featured speaker Matthew Steenhoek, PN Hoffman’s VP of Development. Matt shared stories behind the sustainable design features of the District Wharf's 3.2-million-square-foot redevelopment of DC’s newest waterfront.
