YOU DID IT! River Advocates, it's time to give yourself a big pat on the back! Montgomery County Council passed two bills to protect urban tree canopy in the county - the Roadside Trees Bill and the Tree Canopy Conservation Bill.

Potomac Conservancy was thrilled to host another wonderful Picnic on the Potomac in celebration of the dedication and commitment of our friends, volunteers and supporters. Our Potomac community helped us honor MIRA USA as our 2013 Volunteer of the Year! Thank you to all the picnic goers who came out to enjoy the fun-filled day with children's crafts and games, BBQ, flavored ice and live music by Lilt.
