COVID-19 Safety Measures

Ensuring the well-being of our community, volunteers, and staff is our priority

 

☃️🧣 Winter 2022/2023: We are implementing the following safety measures at all of our volunteer events:

  • All volunteer events are completely outdoors 

  • All volunteers and staff are encouraged to wear mask when gathered in groups 

  • We are asking all volunteers to bring reusable gloves to trash cleanups, Potomac Conservancy will also provide extra disposable gloves and hand sanitizer. 

Thank you for helping us follow these guidelines. Together, we’ll safely gather at events that safeguard the Potomac River and protect the safety and well-being of our staff, volunteers, and the communities in which we work.

We will continue to closely monitor local COVID-19 caseloads and CDC recommendations and make adjustments to our safety procedures as necessary.
