Get nuts for clean water with Potomac Conservancy for our annual Growing Native Day!

Join us on Saturday, October 4th for our Growing Native Day celebration at River Bend Park in Frederick, Maryland from 9:30am to 1:00pm. You will help beautify your local park and restore the banks of the Monocacy River - the source of much of Frederick's drinking water. Grab a friend and have fun outside as you help plant trees, remove trash, and learn to collect native hardwood acorns for future tree plantings.

RSVP today by emailing Rebecca Long at long@potomac.org

Many of Frederick County's streams and rivers have started to slowly recover after decades of excess pollution and habitat destruction. With your help, we'll continue the progress to restore the health of our local waterways and keep Frederick's drinking water clean and safe.

Our partners at Stream-Link Education and Friends of Frederick County are coordinating additional local activities on October 4th, so pick the activity and location that works best for you!
