Tree Detectives is series of family-focused tree tours styled as scavenger hunts that is organized by our friends at Casey Trees. Kids and their families hunt for clues based on leaves, flowers, fruit, bark and other characteristics and use these clues to identify different trees.
Getting There - The Metrorail station is Capitol South (Orange and Blue Lines) which is a 10 minute walk. There is ample street parking surrounding Garfield Park. Meet at the southeast corner of 3rd St SE and South Carolina Ave SE.

Who Should Attend? - Tree Detectives is for families with children in 1st through 6th grade. Children must be accompanied by an adult(s) at all times.
Come Prepared - It is recommended that participants bring sun protection, bug protection and water for this walk.
Site Information - There are no onsite restrooms at Garfield Park.
