Take a ride through history with the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park aboard Amtrak's Capitol Limited! Trains run between Cumberland, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., on Saturdays, beginning in April. Trails & Rails volunteers will provide an interactive, historical narration of the Canal, railroad, Civil War, nearby towns, and natural features along the way.
Volunteer training starts March 12 and you must apply by March 1st. Volunteers must be 18+.
