Take in the beauty of the DC waterfront with REI!
This kayaking trip departs on the Virginia side of the river. You will paddle up past the Jefferson Memorial and the Tidal Basin, underneath the iconic Lincoln Memorial and the Arlington Memorial Bridge, past the Kennedy Center and towards the Georgetown Waterfront. We'll stop for a catered box and take in the beauty of Roosevelt Island, a sanctuary for wildlife and waterfowl. We'll finish the day paddling back downriver, providing another opportunity for views (and photos) of the monuments. Lunch at Roosevelt Island is included!
