About This Event:
Come to the Festival del Río Anacostia where we'll be collecting seed drop offs, and learning about native trees! We'll test your tree ID skills, create leaf rubbings, and more!
MD Forest Service is specifically looking for the following species seeds: Eastern Redbud, Flowering Dogwood, Chestnut Oak, White Oak, Swamp White Oak, Wild American Plum, Paw paw, Elderberry, and Beach Plum.
Whether you are a novice or expert in tree identification, this event is the perfect way to Get Nuts for Clean Water.
To get to the park, use the East Side entrance off of University Blvd E, across from the Archery Range.
