Potomac Conservancy Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities

Make a public commitment to our Nation's River!

Our Corporate Sponsorship Program is designed to meet your company’s philanthropic goals. We are also happy to tailor sponsorship packages to meet your specific giving parameters.

Why partner with Potomac Conservancy?

An excellent opportunity for exposure: We are connected with thousands of friends, donors, volunteers, and advocates throughout the Potomac region. Our friends are engaged citizens mindful of their local environment and the businesses that support it.

Make a difference in the local community: Your sponsorship will improve the communities that sustain your business. Your customers and employees rely on the Potomac River for drinking water, venture out along the Potomac to exercise or recreate, and appreciate the value a healthy Potomac adds to our quality of life. A partnership with Potomac Conservancy shows your dedication to being a socially responsible organization that supports the local environment.

Sponsorships put boots on the ground: Your sponsorship directly enriches our Community Conservation volunteer programs, offered by the Conservancy year round, and does not go towards large overhead expenses as can be the case with larger non-profit organizations.

If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a corporate sponsor, please contact Katie Blackman at blackman@potomac.org or 301-608-1188 x213.

Take Me to the River Sponsorship

Held each spring, Potomac Conservancy’s annual Take Me to the River Celebration is a fun and memorable way to show your support for a healthy Potomac River. You and your guests will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with regional leaders from the business and philanthropic community and to celebrate your support for clean water and community-driven conservation.

For information on sponsoring Take Me to the River, email Mary Vasse at vasse@potomac.org or call 301-608-1188 x207.

Volunteer Event Sponsorship

Offered year round, our Community Conservation volunteer programs engage hundreds of DC area residents each year in riverbank cleanups, stream and trail restoration projects, tree plantings, and native seed collections.

Team volunteering is a great way to showcase your commitment to the local environment. Participation in our four National Days of Service in January, April, June, and September, and participation in our paddling and recreation programs can be a platform for a strong volunteering presence in the community.

If you have interest in scheduling a team volunteer event, contact Katie Blackman at blackman@potomac.org or call 301-608-1188 x 213.
