Hedrick Belin Appointed to Capt. Smith Trail Council

U.S. Interior Secretary, Sally Jewell, named Potomac Conservancy President, Hedrick Belin, to the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail Advisory Council. Belin joins the council along with 25 other distinguished conservationists, Native American leaders, historians, educators, and more. The Advisory Council will work with the Department of the Interior and the National Park Service on matters related to the trail, including natural conservation, trail management, public access, recreational opportunities and native cultural landscapes along the trail route.
