Potomac Conservancy Saves White Horse Mountain, Halts Development Plans on 1,700-Acre Forest

Potomac Conservancy has purchased White Horse Mountain, saving a threatened forest and protecting clean water for the millions of people who rely on the Potomac River and its tributaries.

Thanks to the support of The Conservation Fund and the generosity of more than 250 individuals and organizations, this land will be protected forever and opened to the public for hunting, hiking, wildlife viewing, and other enjoyment!
