Runners, hikers, and walkers are all encouraged to participate in this 5K trail course in the heart of beautiful Keswick in Albemarle County! There is also a mile race and scramble for kids. Proceeds will benefit the Piedmont Environmental Council, a non-profit dedicated to promoting and protecting the natural resources, rural economy, history, and beauty of the Virginia Piedmont.
Kids 12 & under run free in the Kids Mile or Kids Scramble if registered before race day. The kids' races start at 5 p.m. and the 5K trail race begins at 6 p.m. After the race, everyone is encouraged to stick around for a complimentary "Hunt Breakfast" featuring a wine tasting from Barboursville Vineyards. There will also be prizes for the top finishers.
